AR filmmaking

An exercise combining a physical "set" with AR-driven animation of a couple of elements using Adobe Aero. What is great about the technique, is that with precise measurement and good camera movement, one can easily create fully animated clips.

For this test, I just planned a simple scene in 3D, using my table dimensions and roughly recreated the design with cardboard and some plastic elements. Then added a 3D ship and a smaller element to travel across the set. Using "Restart" function in Adobe Aero presentation, one can film the sequence many times in order, e.g. to find the best camera angle.
